Sanger Unified School District

Bullying in California is defined as any physical or verbal conduct, including written communications, that may cause fear, mental distress, or interference with the victim's studies  (Cal. Educ. Code § 48900). It often occurs repeatedly over time and involves an imbalance of power.

SUSD uses Second Step curriculum to:
  • teach staff how to recognize and respond to bullying.
  • teach children real-life skills to handle bullying situations.
